yasmiü vicittamaõimaõóitamandirànaü
nànàvitànasayanàsanamaõóitànaü
nisseõiseõiputhubhåmikabhåsitànaü
tiõõaü utånam-anuråpam-alaïkatànaü [136]
Yasmiü vicitta-maõi-maõóita-nànà-vitàna-sayana-àsana-maõóitànaü nisseõi-seõi-puthu-bhåmika-bhåsitànaü tiõõaü utånaü anuråpaü alaïkatànaü mandirànaü;
In that place where there were (three) palaces decorated with variegated jewels, having manifold lodgings with decorated canopies, many-storied, adorned with rows of stairs, decked out and suitable for the three seasons;
siïgesu raüsinikarà suramandirànaü
siïgesu raüsim-apahàsakarà va niccaü
àdiccaraüsi viya païkajakànanàni
lokànanambujavanàni vikàsayanti [137]
siïgesu raüsi-nikarà Sura-Mandirànaü siïgesu raüsiü niccaü apahàsa-karà va, païkaja-kànanàni àdicca-raüsi viya loka-ànana-ambuja-vanàni vikàsayanti;
around the turrets of which were a multitude of rays, which indeed mocked the eternal rays around the turrets of the Palaces of the Suras, (and) as the rays of the sun illumine the lotus-groves, so these (illuminated) the abundant lotus-like 01 faces of the people;
nànà maõivicittàhi bhittãhi vanità sadà
vinà pi dappaõacchàyaü pasàdhenti sakaü tanuü [138]
vanità sadà nànà maõi-vicittàhi bhittãhi, dappaõa-cchàyaü vinà pi, sakaü tanuü pasàdhenti;
near the many and variously bejewelled walls, without (needing) a reflection in mirrors, the women continually ornamented their slender bodies;
kelàsanagasaïkàsaü vilocanarasàyanaü
sudhàlaïkatapàkàraü valayaü yattha dissate [139]
yattha Kelàsa-Naga-saïkàsaü vilocana-rasa-àyanaü sudhà-alaïkata-pàkàraü valayaü dissate;
where was seen a decorated, whitewashed, rampart enclosure 02 similar to Mount Kelàsa, which brought pleasure to the eyes;
indanãloruvalayaü nànàratanabhåsitaü
dissate va sadà yasmiü parikhànekapaïkajà [140]
yasmiü nànà-ratana-bhåsitaü inda-nãla-uru-valayaü va, sadà neka-païka-jà parikhà dissate;
wherein were seen moats, which always had countless lotuses, like large sapphire bracelets adorned with many treasures;
patvàna vuddhiü vipule manuÿÿe
bhutvàna kàme ca tahiü vasanto
gacchaü tilokekavilocano so
uyyànakãëàya mahàpathamhi [141]
tahiü so Ti-Loka-Eka-Vilocano vasanto ca, vuddhiü patvàna, vipule manuÿÿe kàme bhutvàna, uyyàna-kãëàya mahà-pathamhi gacchaü.
therein the Sole Seer of the Three Worlds lived and, after attaining maturity and enjoying abundantly pleasant sensual pleasures, he went along the main path to play in the garden.
